Yuma is known as the “sunniest place on earth,” and it’s also one of the hottest places in North America. Yuma County Library District is developing a stationary heat campaign for winter 2025 or early 2026. Over the summer, the library developed educational materials on extreme heat and provided cooldown kits to library patrons for hot days.
